Pick a shelf and start playing — the number is how many games are playable right now

Game categories

This page is the shortcut for anyone who has not decided what to play. Instead of scanning titles one by one, start from the kind of play you want and choose a game inside it.

How the shelves are drawn

Our categories follow what a player actually does, not marketing labels. Almost everything on the jumping shelf runs on one button and lives or dies by timing. Strategy titles hand you thinking time before the first move. Skill games measure precision rather than speed. A single game can sit on several shelves at once, because a colour-matching board that also asks you to remember positions is genuinely both a puzzle and a thinking game.

Shelves that are still empty

A few categories in this list hold nothing yet. We would rather say so plainly than pad a shelf with games that do not belong there. An empty shelf fills when a suitable title that runs properly in a browser reaches the shared library we draw from.

Where the words come from

Every category description here was written for this site. We do not display the promotional blurbs that arrive with the games, because those texts are short, repeat one another and already exist on other sites. What you read on a category page is ours.
