What this game is like
The word Halloween makes plenty of adults hesitate before handing a device over. For this particular title the answer is straightforward: the artwork is entirely cartoon. Grinning pumpkins, round ghosts, wide-eyed bats. No photographic imagery, no blood, and none of the timed shocks a horror game would use. What is dark here is the background, not the content.
The thing genuinely worth watching is the screen rather than the subject matter. A dark palette is harder to see outdoors than a bright one, so if a child is playing on a phone in a car or in a garden, raise the brightness first. Otherwise they will squint their way through it and never mention that their eyes hurt.
For a very young player, the real obstacle is aiming, which requires judging a direction before releasing and takes a while to develop. If they are not there yet, the blocks shelf at My Urban Eatery holds several drag-and-swap boards that ask for no aim at all.
